Equine Breeds
by Donna Doud

Welcome!

donna.jpg (9241 bytes) I was in 4-H from the time I was 13 years old, until I turned 18. I chose Horsemanship for my 4-H project and showed in the 4-H county horseshows. I was one of five members in my county 4-H Club, that was chosen to go to Washington D.C. due to being one of the top five members of our county 4-H club and the state of Missouri 4-H clubs. I did not go due to other commitments.

I later joined the ApHC and have been an member of it for 22 years and showed on the registered Appaloosa show circuit for 12 years. I started as a Non-Pro, later dropped the Non-Pro status, and turned to Professional status, I worked with youth and Non-Pros. Also trained horses, not just Appaloosas, but all western breeds, QH, Paints, etc. I showed my weanlings in Futurities and was also and 4-H Horsemanship leader. I quit showing all together and concentrated on my Appaloosa breeding program. Horses were my life. I still keep my ApHC membership.
