Morningstar Misty of Penzance is an
Arabian/Appaloosa mare. She is now 9 years old. Misty was dubbed a
"killer" mare in 1996. The photos above were all taken this past
summer of 1999. Three years of re-training and lots and lots of love and
patience have turned this "killer" mare into what you see above. She
has the most appealing personality. Even when she was at her worst, people
offered to buy her. She was not for sale then and will not be for sale ever. You

Watch for this mare ... she and I are going to become "dancing" partners. She has incredible gaits; the smoothest, most forward trot of any horse I've ridden. Her jumping capabilities reach over 5'. She is fun, mischievous, curious, and incredibly intense. A chow hound from the word go, her favorite snacks are soda, coffee and donuts. On any given Sunday she will share breakfast with me regardless of what I am eating. She is a strong headed, dominant mare who has stepped down to allow me "the reins". As true as passive leadership relationships are, there isn't one any sweeter than the one we've reached together over the past 3 years.
