| The
Christian's Journal: The writings of Mary O'Connell A very dear friend of mine sent me this article entitled, THE TEENY TINY BRITTLE
BRANCH, today, Jan. 9, 2001. This is the first of our writings in
these pages in 'The Christian's Journal'.
Mary O'Connell, the author of "The Teeny Tiny Brittle Branch" is
gifted in a most extraordinary way - she dreams dreams, sees visions and has the biggest
heart for the Lord of anyone I know. Human as everyone is and a mother of 4 children, she
and her husband do spiritual battle daily just to keep their eyes on Jesus. But, with a
heart full of faith, hope and most certainly, charity, Mary also has another gift from the
Lord - the gift of writing. Not merely being able to put words on a piece of paper; But,
that gift that reaches into the reader's heart and tugs and tugs and tugs, bringing tears
to the eye, joy to the heart and encouragement to the soul.
I introduce to you, the reader of PENZANCE, ... Mary O'Connell. A human mother,
wife, writer and most of all ... an extraordinary Child of God.
