Rich Pecan Pie |

| Serves 8-10 | 350° |
| 4 | eggs |
| 1 cup | light brown sugar |
| 1 cup | dark corn syrup |
| 1 Tbsp | rum flavoring |
| ¼ cup | butter, melted |
| 1 cup | pecan halves |

| Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9½ glass pie plate with the dough. Glass holds heat better and produces a better crust. Beat together the eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, rum flavoring, and butter. Line the pie plate with the pecans and pour in the filling mixture. Bake for 50-55 minutes, then cool for at least an hour on a wire cooling rack. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. | |
